Photofacials, or Photo Rejuvenation, are done using our V-Beam machine. The Skin Tightening procedure is done using our YAG machine. Together, both machines target different layers and factors of the skin, giving you the best of both worlds: flawless, firm skin.
With respect to skin tightening, the 1064 nm laser may even be the treatment modality of choice. It has numerous advantages over many other lasers.
The mechanism of action for skin tightening, regardless of the technology employed, necessitates sufficient dermal temperatures to achieve not only collagen remodeling, but also collagen contraction. There is obviously a depth of penetration also required for this energy deposition, as Nd:YAG therapies differentiate themselves from other light-based devices, most notably on this feature.
