Microdermabrasion is one of the more recent skin-care techniques to have crossed over from Hollywood to the mainstream. Microdermabrasion is a skin resurfacing technique, which gently removes the superficial skin layer. Many different products and treatments use this method, including medical procedures, salon treatments and creams and scrubs that you apply yourself at home. It is usually done to the face, chest, neck, arms or hands.

The action of microdermabrasion takes place at the stratum corneum, the superficial skin layer. Bella offers medical strength microdermabrasion equipment that is second to none. This treatment improves fine lines and wrinkles, sun damaged skin, acne scars and enlarged pores, leaving your skin with a smoother and softer surface.
Maintain hydration (both topically and internally) by drinking plenty of water. Moisturizers and sunscreen should be applied before leaving the treatment room. Use a strong moisturizer along with sun block SPF-30. Moisturize and reapply sunscreen several times during the day, as needed, and to avoid direct sunlight.
Avoid tanning beds for at least one week after the treatment. Avoid waxing of the treated areas for two weeks post-procedure.
You may return once a month for regular microdermabrasion treatments. You may also interval treatments with chemical peels once a month.
